Exeter Report

Gig's at The Exeter Hotel are seldom quiet affairs and our show there on 16/8/25 was no exception.

Kicking of the night, The Bluedays set the scene for what would turn out to be a varied night of original Adelaide music, proving that there's plenty of creative passion floating around this often overlooked City.   Also joining us on the night were Lucid Brew who are a favorite of ours - they play an infectious mix of Psychedelic Rock  which transprts us back to the golden age of music!  Both the Bluedays and Lucid Brew are great to work with and great company to hang out and have a few drinks with - get out to see them both when you get the chance!

We took to the stage around 22:00 as a three-piece and wasted no time in getting into some Fuselage classics such as alibi and Blacksun.  Once we'd drawn breath we hit our stride with the as-yet un-recorded ‘Masquerade’.  We love playing this tune as it seems to evolve every time we play it live - it's one we're keen to get out soon so keep you ears open and ready for it.

Tonight we decided to throw a song by the Church into the mix and judging by the reception we got  I think that we managed to do it justice.  The rest of our set was met with dancing and cheers and one of our lovely crowd-members buying me a drink half way through the set - whoever you were, it was greatly appreciated and please feel free to do so at future events.

SETLIST:

Alibi, Blacksun, Masquerade, Golden Keys, Under The Milky Way, Love Don't Come Here No More, The Fool, Kovidian Blues, The Bison, Saturday

Our next show is at Woodshed in Royal Park Adelaide on 19/9/2025  Dan Doobly and The New Messiahs & Trick Shot - get you tickets here: https://tickets.oztix.com.au/outlet/event/5ef35ccb-df90-40cf-9b96-b61175a72f60
