Time it seems, waits for no one; and as the first couple of months of '26 passed us by in a blur, I thought I'd take a second to talk about what's been happening round here of late.
Our second appearance at the Wheaty in February was a blast - Any gig that you do is only ever as good as the audience that you have in front of you, and at the Wheatsheaf that means that you're going to be playing in front of an ethused crowd who are there for original music and good times. Add some delicious beverages into the mix and that Sunday Afternoon vibe becomes electric. So to everyone who made the trip out to see us back in February - we thank you - its such a good feeling that you're there and having as good a time as we are!
We had a few technical gremlins to start us off (gotta love loose cables) but we soon found our straps. Once we settled down and found our groove we knocked out a set of Fuselage classics after opening the set with a brace of new tunes. A mid-set change of tempo had long-time band photographer Ash get up and sing an Oasis song acoustically.
Now that March is well and truly here, we're concentrating on our next EP. The recording process always opens up the Rabbit Hole of creativity allowing for the exploration of new ideas and for alternative ways of listening to Long-conceived tracks. The early feedback that we've had so far is really encouraging and we hope to have them out as soon as they're ready.
A special mention must go to the 4-Cats who played with us at the wheatsheaf - we always love seeing you guys and if you seem them playing a show somewhere - get on it!
