October has rolled in and is almost complete and we're back in Cross-Road Studios laying down some new music.  We've been playing “Kovidian Blues”  - (Working Title) for a what seems an age now and its good to finally be laying this song down to tape (or to be precise - digital hard drive).  We can consolidate all those great ideas we have for the song and listen back to what works, what sounds great to our own self-indulgent ears, and what sounds best in the cold light of day.  Its can be a surprisingly intense process fitting recording sessions between work & family life but one in which will reap great benefits.

The track has been part of our live set for a while and seems to get a good response - if you've been to our recent shows you would have heard it towards the end of the set.  It's a dynamic piece that ebbs and flows between a sparse arrangement and heady instrumentation.  We feel it would sit quite well in a post-punk playlist  alongside bands such as: The Church, Magazine, & Echo & The Bunnymen.

This song has taken on a few iterations since we first started playing it, and we think that you'll love it once it drops on whatever platform you seek your music from.
